Choosing an Accountant is free

Choosing the right one is priceless!

Purpose and Values

Relationships | Attitude | Integrity | Excellence

My purpose is to fully support you and your business dream, to give you the right advice at the right time so that you can successfully build wealth, display excellence and love doing what you do.  My business is all about your success.

Values are the back bone to any business, with the need to align to personal and professional expectations at all times.  When that is achieved we have a strong and successful partnership!

What is important to me?  Relationships, Attitude, Integrity and Excellence.

7 days a week no matter what, where, when, why and how, I am here to support you and your business.  Relationships must be built and maintained, attitude must be positive and portrayed, integrity must be at the forefront and excellence must be delivered.

I do uphold my personal and professional commitment to achieving my purpose and values at all times.

Michelle Oldfield

Director

Bachelor of Business Analysis (Financial Analysis) majoring in Accounting (BBA); Chartered Accountant (CA) with Public Practice.

My knowledge and experience allows me to work closely with a range of industries and clients, whether it be financial and tax compliance; assisting with business advisory matters or just being that bouncing board along the way.

Out of the office my time is just as busy.  I am committed to Squash on and off the court; to the family sport of drag racing either on the track or in the background and spending time on the beautiful lifestyle property in Pyes Pa.

My business story

Straight from high school an Accountant was born!

By default, Michelle Oldfield fell into the Accounting industry and haven't look back since.  Taking up an office junior role in the Waikato in 1998 gave me the foot in the door before moving to Tauranga in 2001; since then, I have been employed at small, medium and a "big 4" accounting firm specialising in accounting, leadership and client ownership roles, and across a range of industries.

I thoroughly enjoy providing a quality and timely service to my clients and building great trusting relationships, not just engaging in their business lives but also taking the time to value and care about their personal and family lives too.  I don't mind doing the monkey work either hence the decision to take the leap on my own delivering exceptional service on the past and into the future; going it alone and doing it all myself.  My professional drive is that you will always receive accurate advice in a timely manner to be able to put yourself in a better position to make the right decisions.

"Every day is different, every client is different, every industry is different.  Every client's journey is different also.  Sometimes they are at the start of their journey and growing, some have grown and need to restructure, downsize or set up their exit strategy"  This is what I love about my day and I am extremely lucky to be apart of every clients journey.

And it's not all about the work!  Over my professional career I have also given back to clubs and charities in governance and financial support roles.  I served on the Committee of Devoy Squash & Fitness Centre (Tauranga) for 10 years with the last 4 years being President; I am currently on the Board of Squash Bay of Plenty Incorporated and BOP Major Squash Events Incorporated as well as Treasurer for Meremere Dragway Incorporated and a volunteer at Napa Dragway (Meremere) helping run the local track on race day... not your stereotypical Accountant, one that loves the smell of race fuel and burnout smoke... in case you are wondering why drag racing, drag racing is a family sport, I was in nappies when I first went to the track and I will no doubt be wearing hearing aids when I finish!  As for Squash, this is a great release taking my mind off the job for 45 minutes, whether that be playing Squash or Racketball, and it's an extremely social sport so the club environment is just as important.  I believe that my career requires me to give back to those that continue to give and not-for-profit organisations.
